On the day that shocked the worlds of music, art and fashion, Burberry gracefully paid their respects to modern cultural legend, David Bowie. This was presented in the form of a model strutting down the runway and opening her hands to reveal the icon’s name scrawled into her palms – a heartfelt moment as the British fashion powerhouse presented autumn – winter 2016 at London Collections Men.

Burberry evoked a sense of seventies inspired nineties indie pop culture as sportswear, reminiscent of the Brit-pop era, was shown with a fabricated twist. Seventies style tracksuit tops, popularised by nineties British bands, were shown in red and white and green and white.
Elsewhere, sleek, classic Buberry heritage silouettes and patterns were presented in double breasted overcoats and single breasted raincoats, styled with crisp, tailored trousers and baseball boots.
